Our roots

Sugaring is hard work that is full of surprises. It requires ingenuity, flexibility and an ability for our family as a whole to go with the flow of it all. The life of a maple producer is not as idyllic as it may seem, but the challenge leads to great reward and a sense of accomplishment at the end of each season.

Our Story

Construction of our sugar house began days before the birth of our first daughter with the intention of allowing our children to grow up learning about Vermont’s maple sugaring tradition and enjoying the sweet rewards as a family. Things are working out quite well as they seem to embrace the process of making syrup more and more each year.
