Bird Friendly

We have recently been recognized as Bird-Friendly by the Bird-Friendly Maple Project at Audubon Vermont. Birds are an important part of any ecosystem and we welcome their presence in our forest. A diverse bird population is a sign of good forest management and overall health of the forest. It takes a healthy ecosystem to produce high quality maple syrup, especially in these changing times. Having many tree species of varying age classes helps our sugar bush to support a diverse population of birds.
